Josephine Merkle – Office Manager
Josephine joined our team in December 2016 as our office manager. She is a native Dallasite and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Social Work. She currently lives in McKinney with her husband, Brad, and 2 rag doll cats. Two of her children are in college and one is working as a respiratory therapist. “I am passionate about people and enjoy providing a comfortable, safe, and friendly atmosphere at the birthing center. I love that the birth center feels just like home.”
Janice has been with ABC since 2004 and quickly became an irreplaceable asset to the team. She is our insurance guru and an expert with finances. She makes up our entire financial management department which means you always talk to the same person and don’t have to worry with jumping through hoops to find out information on your account. Janice also has the unique perspective of being an employee and client. Her third child was welcomed at home with the love and support of our birth center CNMs.
From client to part time receptionist to office manager Kelsey has played many roles in her time here at ABC. After having her daughter Olivia here in 2011 she knew evidence based childbirth was a new passion in her life and joined our team in 2012. She is currently working behind the scenes assisting with social media and records management. “For 2017 I knew I needed to be home with my family more and could no longer work full time, but the thought of leaving completely broke my heart. I’m so glad I get to continue serving the amazing families here at ABC!”
Jeff has the honor of being married to our clinical director Amy Giles and managing all the behind the scenes operations that make ABC run smoothly. From supplies, to maintenance, and sometimes even gardening Jeff has us covered.
